Micromanometer-thermometer datalogger 20 mbar – HD2114.2

Micromanometer-thermometer datalogger 20 mbar – HD2114.2

The 20 mbar micromanometer-thermometer datalogger is a portable instrument for measuring low differential pressures and temperature, featuring an internal sensor with ±20 mbar full scale and integrated data logging capability.

The internal differential sensor referenced to atmospheric pressure is suitable for checks on air and non-aggressive dry gases, especially when small pressure variations need to be monitored over time.

The datalogger function allows storage of up to 36,000 pressure and temperature samples. The acquisition interval can be configured from the menu, making it possible to adapt data collection to the duration of the test or the monitoring application.

Through the PP471 module, external pressure probes from the TP704 and TP705 series can also be connected, extending the operating range beyond the internal 20 mbar sensor. This configuration is useful when low-pressure checks need to be alternated with measurements using external probes covering different ranges.

Temperature is measured using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes in the range -200…+650 °C. Probes equipped with SICRAM module store calibration data internally and are automatically recognized by the instrument.

The RS232C and USB 2.0 interfaces allow data transfer to a PC or portable printer. Functions such as Max, Min, Avg, REL, HOLD and PEAK with compatible external probes complete the operational capabilities of the instrument.

It is the most suitable model when sensitive low-pressure measurements must be monitored and documented over time.

Applications

  • Monitoring low differential pressures up to ±20 mbar
  • Long-term recording of pressure and temperature measurements
  • Inspections on HVAC, ventilation and low-pressure systems
  • Verification of small pressure variations on air and non-aggressive dry gases
  • Data transfer to PC through RS232C or USB
  • Use with TP704 and TP705 external probes through PP471 module
  • Maintenance, commissioning and laboratory testing with data documentation

FAQ – Micromanometer-thermometer datalogger 20 mbar

When should the 20 mbar datalogger version be selected?
It is recommended when low differential pressures must be measured and measurement trends need to be recorded over time, for example during long-term testing or inspections on low-pressure systems.

What is the difference compared to the non-datalogger version?
The non-datalogger version is intended for direct readings only. The datalogger version can store up to 36,000 samples and allows data transfer to a PC.

Why choose the 20 mbar version instead of the 200 mbar model?
The 20 mbar full scale is more suitable when the pressures to be measured are low. If the differential pressures are higher, the 200 mbar or 2000 mbar versions are preferable.

Can data be transferred to a PC?
Yes, data can be transferred through RS232C or USB 2.0. The USB interface on datalogger models operates as a HID device.

Is the PEAK function always available?
The PEAK function is available when external probes connected through the PP471 module are used, and it is useful for detecting pressure peaks.

Are the probes included with the instrument?
No, the PP471 module, pressure probes and temperature probes must be selected separately according to the measurement range and application.
