The 200 mbar micromanometer-thermometer datalogger is a portable instrument for measuring differential pressure and temperature, featuring an internal ±200 mbar differential sensor and integrated data memory.
The internal sensor, referenced to atmospheric pressure, is designed for operation on air and non-aggressive dry gases. The 200 mbar range represents an intermediate solution between the more sensitive 20 mbar version and the wider 2000 mbar range for higher differential pressures.
The datalogger function allows storage of up to 36,000 pressure and temperature samples, with configurable acquisition intervals. This feature is particularly useful when monitoring pressure trends over time, checking stability, or detecting transient variations during testing.
The instrument can be expanded through the PP471 module to connect external pressure probes from the TP704 and TP705 series. In this way, the micromanometer can be adapted to different pressure ranges and pressure types, including relative and absolute pressure measurements, depending on the selected probe.
Temperature is measured using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes, including probes with SICRAM module, in the range -200…+650 °C. SICRAM probes store calibration data internally and are automatically recognized by the instrument.
The RS232C and USB 2.0 interfaces allow data transfer to a PC or portable printer. Operational functions such as Max, Min, Avg, REL, HOLD and PEAK are also available when compatible external probes are connected through the PP471 module.
It is the recommended solution when differential pressure measurements up to 200 mbar require internal data logging, data transfer and documentation of measurement trends over time.
Applications
- Logging of differential pressure measurements up to ±200 mbar
- Long-term monitoring of pressure and temperature
- Inspections on HVAC systems, pneumatic systems and technical circuits
- Stability testing, commissioning and maintenance with data collection
- Data transfer to PC through RS232C or USB
- Measurements with TP704 and TP705 external probes through PP471 module
- Temperature checks using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes
FAQ – Micromanometer-thermometer datalogger 200 mbar
When should the 200 mbar datalogger version be selected?
It is recommended when differential pressures up to ±200 mbar must be measured and recorded over time.
How many samples can it store?
It can store up to 36,000 pressure and temperature samples, with configurable acquisition intervals from the menu.
What is the difference compared to the non-datalogger version?
The non-datalogger version is intended for direct readings only. The datalogger version adds internal memory, USB and RS232C connectivity, and the possibility to transfer data to a PC.
Does the USB connection require drivers?
No, the USB interface on datalogger models operates as a HID device, so no dedicated USB drivers are required when using the dedicated cable.
Can external pressure probes be connected?
Yes, through the PP471 module it is possible to connect TP704 and TP705 probes by selecting the appropriate pressure type and range according to the application.
Are the probes included?
No, the PP471 module, pressure probes and temperature probes must be ordered separately according to the required measurement configuration.
