Micromanometer-thermometer 20 mbar – HD2114.0

The 20 mbar micromanometer-thermometer is a portable instrument with internal differential sensor referenced to atmospheric pressure, designed for low differential pressure measurements and temperature measurement. The ±20 mbar full scale makes it suitable for applications where small pressure variations need to be detected with good sensitivity.

The internal sensor is suitable for air and non-aggressive dry gases in contact with the membrane. Compared to the 200 mbar and 2000 mbar models, this version is the most suitable choice when the value to be measured is low and sensitivity over a reduced range is the priority.

Through the PP471 module, the instrument can also use external probes from the TP704 and TP705 series, extending its measurement capability to differential, relative or absolute pressure ranges different from the internal sensor.

Temperature is measured using immersion, penetration, contact or air probes with Pt100 or Pt1000 sensors, in the range -200…+650 °C. Probes equipped with SICRAM module store calibration data internally and are automatically recognized when the instrument is switched on.

The Max, Min and Avg functions help evaluate measurement trends during checks. Additional functions include REL, HOLD, selectable auto power-off and PEAK function when external probes are connected through the PP471 module.

It is the most suitable solution for portable low-pressure checks when internal data logging is not required.

Applications

  • Low differential pressure measurements up to ±20 mbar
  • Checks on air and non-aggressive dry gases
  • Inspections on HVAC systems, ventilation and low-pressure systems
  • Temperature measurements with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes
  • Use with TP704 and TP705 external probes through PP471 module
  • Quick field, maintenance and laboratory checks
  • Verification of small pressure variations with sensitive internal sensor

FAQ – Micromanometer-thermometer 20 mbar

When should the 20 mbar model be selected?
It is recommended when low differential pressures or small pressure variations need to be measured and a higher full scale would be less suitable.

What is the difference compared to the 200 mbar model?
The 20 mbar model is more focused on low-pressure measurements. The 200 mbar model covers a wider range and is preferable when pressure differences are higher.

What is the resolution of the internal sensor?
The internal sensor has a resolution of 0.005 mbar, making it suitable for small pressure difference measurements.

Can the instrument work with external probes?
Yes, through the PP471 module it can connect TP704 and TP705 pressure probes, selecting the range best suited to the application.

Does it also measure temperature?
Yes, it measures temperature with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes in the range -200…+650 °C.

Must the probes be ordered separately?
Yes, the PP471 module, pressure probes and temperature probes must be selected separately according to the measurement required.
