The datalogger micromanometer-thermometer for air velocity measurement with 200 mbar full scale is the most advanced instrument within this group when measurements with Pitot tubes on high air velocities are required together with long-term data recording.
The instrument measures the differential pressure generated by the Pitot tube and calculates both air velocity and airflow rate in ducts, air channels and diffusers. The velocity range is from 2…180 m/s, with differential pressure up to ±200 mbar and maximum overpressure of ±1 bar. It is therefore intended for applications where airflow conditions are more demanding compared to standard low-velocity HVAC inspections.
The datalogger function allows up to 36,000 samples to be stored, with logging intervals programmable from the menu. This makes it possible to monitor measurement trends during tests, document airflow variations, verify system stability or record operating conditions over defined periods.
Data connection is available through RS232C and USB 2.0. The RS232C port allows real-time transfer to a PC or portable printer, while the USB connection enables data download for analysis and archiving. Logging interval, print interval and baud rate can all be configured directly from the menu.
Temperature is measured using K thermocouple probes in the range -200…+600 °C. The instrument can use standard miniature connector thermocouple probes as well as Pitot tubes with integrated thermocouple, useful when air temperature must be included in velocity calculations.
The Max, Min, Avg, REL and HOLD functions complete the operational features, while the IP66 protection rating allows field use during maintenance, commissioning and system inspections. Airflow rate can be calculated by entering the duct cross-sectional area within the range 0.0001…1.9999 m².
