The 2000 mbar micromanometer-thermometer datalogger is a portable instrument designed for measuring differential pressure and temperature, featuring an internal sensor with ±2000 mbar full scale and integrated data logging capability.
It is the recommended model when the differential pressures to be monitored are higher than the ranges covered by the 20 mbar and 200 mbar versions.
The internal differential sensor referenced to atmospheric pressure is suitable for air and non-aggressive dry gases, in applications requiring a wider measuring range while maintaining a portable and configurable instrument.
The datalogger function allows storage of up to 36,000 pressure and temperature samples, with programmable acquisition intervals from the menu. This feature is useful for monitoring variations over time, controlling test cycles, documenting commissioning activities or verifying pressure behaviour during a process.
Through the PP471 module, the instrument can also be connected to TP704 and TP705 pressure probes, further extending measurement possibilities for differential, relative or absolute pressure depending on the selected probe.
Temperature is measured using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes, with SICRAM module or direct 4-wire connection, in the range -200…+650 °C. Probes equipped with SICRAM module store calibration data internally and are automatically recognized when the instrument is powered on.
The RS232C and USB 2.0 interfaces allow data transfer to a PC or portable printer. Operational functions such as Max, Min, Avg, REL, HOLD and PEAK are also available with compatible external probes.
It is the most suitable solution when higher differential pressure measurements must be recorded, exported and documented over time.
Applications
- Differential pressure measurements up to ±2000 mbar
- Monitoring of higher pressures compared to 20 and 200 mbar models
- Pressure and temperature data logging over time
- Inspections on pneumatic systems, technical circuits and commissioning activities
- Data transfer to PC through RS232C or USB
- Use with TP704 and TP705 external probes through PP471 module
- Temperature measurements with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes
- Technical documentation of tests and monitoring campaigns
FAQ – Micromanometer-thermometer datalogger 2000 mbar
When should the 2000 mbar model be selected?
It is recommended when the differential pressures to be measured are higher than the ranges covered by the 20 mbar and 200 mbar models.
How many samples can the instrument store?
It can store up to 36,000 pressure and temperature samples, with acquisition interval configurable from the menu.
What maximum overpressure can the internal sensor withstand?
For the ±2000 mbar full scale version, the specified maximum overpressure is ±6 bar.
Can external probes be connected?
Yes, through the PP471 module it is possible to connect TP704 and TP705 probes, selecting the appropriate probe type according to the pressure range and application.
Are the probes and PP471 module included?
No, the PP471 module, pressure probes and temperature probes must be ordered separately according to the required configuration.
