The 200 mbar micromanometer-thermometer is a portable instrument with internal differential sensor referenced to atmospheric pressure, designed for differential pressure measurements with a full scale of ±200 mbar and for temperature measurements using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes.
The internal sensor allows direct pressure measurements on air and non-aggressive dry gases. Compared to the 20 mbar version, this model is more suitable when pressure differences are higher and a wider measurement range is required.
Through the PP471 module, the instrument can also use external pressure probes from the TP704 and TP705 series, extending the measurement capability to differential, relative and absolute pressure applications. External probe selection allows the instrument to be adapted to different pressure ranges and connection types.
Temperature measurement is performed using immersion, penetration, contact or air probes with Pt100 or Pt1000 sensors, in the range -200…+650 °C. Probes equipped with SICRAM module store calibration data internally and are automatically recognized by the instrument.
The Max, Min and Avg functions allow calculation of the main measured values during testing. Additional functions include REL, HOLD, selectable auto power-off and the PEAK function when compatible external probes are connected through the PP471 module.
This instrument is recommended for portable pressure measurements up to 200 mbar when internal data logging is not required, while still maintaining the possibility of connecting external probes for more specific applications.
Applications
- Differential pressure measurements up to ±200 mbar
- Checks on air and non-aggressive dry gases
- Inspections on HVAC systems, technical circuits and pneumatic systems
- Temperature measurements with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes
- Use with TP704 and TP705 external probes through PP471 module
- Rapid maintenance, laboratory and testing operations
- Detection of pressure peaks with PEAK function and compatible probes
FAQ – Micromanometer-thermometer 200 mbar
When should the 200 mbar full-scale version be selected?
It is recommended when the differential pressures to be measured exceed the typical range of the 20 mbar version, but do not require the wider 2000 mbar range.
What is the difference compared to the 20 mbar model?
The 20 mbar model is better suited for very low pressures and small pressure differences. The 200 mbar version covers a wider range and is more suitable for systems with higher differential pressures.
Does the internal sensor measure absolute pressure?
No, the internal sensor is a differential sensor referenced to atmospheric pressure. For absolute pressure or other pressure ranges, compatible external probes can be connected through the PP471 module.
Can it also measure temperature?
Yes, it measures temperature using Pt100 or Pt1000 probes in the range -200…+650 °C, depending on the connected probe.
Is the PP471 module required to use the internal sensor?
No, the internal sensor is built into the instrument. The PP471 module is only required when connecting TP704 or TP705 external probes.
Are accessories included?
No, the PP471 module, pressure probes and temperature probes must be ordered separately, allowing the instrument to be configured according to the application.
