Accelerated aging tests reproduce the damage caused by sunlight, UV radiation, rain, dew and in general by atmospheric agents. These tests, performed in the laboratory, allow reproducing in a few days or weeks the aging conditions that occur in months or years. Tests are carried out, for example, using lamps that simulate exposure to UV rays or Xenon lamps (Xenon test). These tests are fundamental in all areas where it is necessary to evaluate the resistance to aging of parts subject to atmospheric agents, such as in the Automotive and boating sectors, as well as in the sectors of painting and galvanic treatments.
