Digital Cupping Testers – SACT309 – SACT310

A digital cupping tester is used to assess the crack resistance and adhesion of a coating to its metal substrate. The sample panel is secured by an upper wheel and shaped using a 20mm hemispherical indenter onto a 27mm die.

The SACT309 model is manual, and results can be easily viewed using an illuminated magnifying glass. The depth at which failure occurs is shown on a digital display.

The SACT310 model is automatic. Its speed-controlled movement eliminates human error, and a digital camera provides more accurate measurements that can be viewed directly on the screen.
