Tubular Impact Tester is a measuring tool suitable for checking many kinds of coatings, such as paint, varnish, water-based wood coatings, high viscosity plastic coatings and laminated coatings.
This device can be employed also for impact experiments in building industry and for quality management in terms of penetrating standards, such as plastic, resin, glass steel, sheet metal, plywood and so on.
Testing method bases on a GO/NO GO test (test is carried out with a hammer with standard parameters at a specific falling height, in order to verify if the test value is compliant with standard or not) and on a grading test (that is gradually increase the height of the hammer peculiarities for measuring the minimum quality and the falling height when the coating layer cracks or peels off from the base).
