Crimping test Stand – SADFGHS-M/CRIM
Test Stand together with force gauges (capacity 500N) allows measuring the breaking force of crimped cables through the lever mechanism.
The result is an accurate and reliable tensile test, essential to evaluate the mechanical properties of a crimped termination.
The crimping test consists of tightening the wire and the terminal in the appropriate clamps and manually starting the traction through the lever mechanism, until the crimping is broken. At the end of the process, it is possible to read, but also download on a PC, the maximum peak value of the seal or the curve of the forces involved in traction test.
In this way, the verification of crimped corkscrews is very quick and practical even in production processes or in quality control checks.
