Indoor air quality
Senseca indoor air quality dataloggers (formerly Delta Ohm) are portable instruments designed for monitoring the main IAQ parameters in indoor environments. They are intended for inspections in schools, offices, laboratories, public buildings, production areas, technical rooms and occupied enclosed spaces, where ventilation, humidity, temperature and contaminants can affect comfort, safety and environmental quality.
The range includes instruments for simultaneous measurement of CO2, CO, atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity, with calculation of psychrometric quantities such as dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy. These parameters help improve the interpretation of indoor air conditions and evaluate the efficiency of air exchange, HVAC systems and climate control installations.
The HD21ABE17 model is a compact solution for indoor air quality monitoring, with integrated sensors for CO2, CO, atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity. It is suitable for direct IAQ inspections and monitoring campaigns where environmental conditions must be recorded over time, offering large memory capacity and USB data transfer.
The HD37AB1347 model provides a more flexible configuration because it operates with external probes. Combined with the P37AB147 probe, it can measure CO2, CO, relative humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure; it can also be used with SICRAM probes for hot-wire and vane air velocity measurement, temperature probes and combined temperature/humidity probes. This configuration is particularly useful when indoor air quality analysis must be integrated with ventilation and air velocity measurements.
The combined P37AB147 probe is the dedicated sensing element for IAQ analysis with HD37AB1347. It integrates sensors for carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, relative humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure, with SICRAM module for automatic recognition and management of probe calibration data. It is intended for applications where the main indoor air quality parameters need to be concentrated into a single probe.
The instruments in this category are suitable for sick building syndrome investigations, HVAC efficiency verification, building automation inspections, monitoring in high-humidity environments and evaluations in spaces where air quality can affect occupant well-being. Reference standards indicated in the technical specifications include ASHRAE 62.1-2004 and Legislative Decree 81/2008, relating to occupied indoor spaces and assessment of workplace environmental safety and quality.
S.A.M.A. Italia supplies Senseca instruments (formerly Delta Ohm) for indoor air quality with support in selecting the most suitable configuration: compact datalogger, external probe systems, SICRAM probes and accessories for data download and management. When available for the selected instrument and configuration, ACCREDIA calibration performed in Senseca laboratories can also be supplied to ensure metrological traceability and reliable long-term results.
