The combined IAQ probe is a probe with SICRAM module designed for use with the datalogger dedicated to indoor air quality analysis. It allows measurement of CO2, CO, relative humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure within a single probe, providing the instrument with all the main parameters required for IAQ evaluation.
The SICRAM module acts as an intelligent interface between probe and instrument: it enables automatic recognition of the connected probe and stores calibration data internally. This allows fast and reliable operation while reducing the risk of incorrect configuration.
CO2 measurement is performed through a dual-wavelength NDIR sensor, with measuring range 0…5000 ppm. T90 response time is below 120 seconds with air velocity equal to 2 m/s.
Carbon monoxide CO is measured through an electrochemical cell, with measuring range 0…500 ppm. T90 response time is below 50 seconds and expected sensor lifetime exceeds 5 years under normal environmental conditions.
Relative humidity is measured using a capacitive sensor protected by stainless steel mesh filter. Measuring range is 0…100% RH. Temperature is measured through an NTC 10 kΩ sensor, with range -20…+60 °C.
Atmospheric pressure is measured through a piezoresistive sensor, in the range 750…1100 hPa. These parameters allow the datalogger to calculate derived values such as dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy.
The probe dimensions are 275 x 45 x 40 mm and it is supplied with a 2 meter connection cable. It is suitable for indoor environmental monitoring, HVAC inspections, air exchange verification, indoor comfort analysis and IAQ evaluations in occupied environments.
Reference standards indicated for the measuring system include ASHRAE 62.1-2004 and Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008, related to indoor air quality evaluation in occupied enclosed spaces and workplace safety.
