The web datalogger for environmental monitoring is a Wi-Fi/Ethernet solution designed for continuous control of environmental parameters in indoor environments, systems, laboratories, cleanrooms, buildings, building automation systems and HVAC applications where data must be collected, displayed and managed centrally.
The series is designed for flexible installation: it can be used as a single independent datalogger or integrated into a network made up of several instruments. Connection can be made via Ethernet with RJ45 connector or via Wi-Fi, allowing installation even in systems already cabled or in environments covered by wireless networks.
One of the most practical features is the integrated web server. The datalogger can be configured and consulted directly from a browser, using a PC, tablet or smartphone connected to the same local network, without the need to install software for basic operations. From the browser it is possible to display real-time measurements, check graphs and tables, modify parameters and verify instrument status.
Depending on the selected configuration, the system can monitor temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric and differential pressure, CO2, illuminance and particulate matter PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4.0 and PM10. This allows the datalogger to be used in many applications: from indoor comfort verification to air quality control, from HVAC monitoring to controlled-environment management.
The version with four analog terminal inputs allows connection of standard industrial signals, further extending the application possibilities. Inputs supported include current signals 0…20 mA and 4…20 mA, voltage inputs, Pt100/Pt1000 sensors, K, J, T, N and E thermocouples and potentiometric signals. This configuration is useful when existing transmitters or quantities not covered by standard sensor versions need to be integrated.
Internal memory can be managed in circular mode or with logging stop when the memory is full. The number of stored samples depends on the selected quantities to be recorded, allowing short acquisitions, periodic checks or long-term monitoring to be configured. The logging interval is configurable from a few seconds up to one hour.
Alarm management is another important feature of the series. For each channel, two alarm thresholds can be set, with regular hysteresis and delay. When a measurement exceeds the set limits, the instrument can signal the event through internal buzzer, front LED and email alarm. This function is useful when the datalogger must monitor critical parameters without requiring continuous manual checking.
Communication supports protocols and services such as Modbus TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, HTTP and NIST. Data can be sent to an FTP server, cloud or email, while the network connection can manage up to 10 simultaneous clients. This makes the series suitable also for systems where several operators or systems need access to the data.
Dedicated software solutions are available for PC management. HD35AP-S is intended for downloading and saving data from a single datalogger, while HDServer1 allows simultaneous management of several units on the network, with automatic device detection and data archiving in a database. For pharmaceutical or regulated applications, the HD35AP-CFR21 software option is also available, designed for data management according to FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
The datalogger is designed for separate installation in indoor environments, with a polycarbonate housing and IP54 protection rating with RJ45 connector cover. Power supply is external, with the option of PoE power supply through an optional splitter. Depending on the version, the instrument can be supplied without display, with custom LCD display or with graphic LCD display.
