Dataloggers

Senseca dataloggers (formerly Delta Ohm) are systems designed for monitoring and recording physical parameters in indoor environments, laboratories, warehouses, cleanrooms, HVAC systems, industrial processes, museums, greenhouses, meteorological applications and transport of sensitive goods. They are developed for continuous data acquisition, making information available for analysis and supporting the control of critical environmental parameters.

The category includes two main product families: the HD50 web dataloggers and the HD35 wireless systems. The HD50 series is designed for applications requiring a datalogger connected to the local network through Ethernet or Wi-Fi, with integrated web server for configuration and real-time visualization of measurements directly from a browser. This solution is suitable for indoor monitoring, building automation, cleanrooms, technical plants and applications where data access from PCs, tablets or smartphones connected to the local network is required.

The HD35 series is instead a modular wireless datalogging system composed of base units, remote dataloggers, optional repeaters and alarm modules. It is suitable when measuring points are numerous, distributed across multiple rooms, buildings or difficult-to-wire areas. Radio communication reduces cabling requirements, speeds up installation and makes it easier to modify the layout of control points over time.

Depending on the configuration, the dataloggers can monitor temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric and differential pressure, CO2, CO, illuminance, UV irradiance, particulate matter, solar radiation, rainfall, wind, leaf wetness, soil water content, level and WBGT index. Versions with signal inputs for industrial transmitters are also available, allowing connection of external transmitters, Pt100/Pt1000 sensors, thermocouples, clean contacts, potentiometric signals or MODBUS interfaces.

Data management can be performed through dedicated software, local or remote database, FTP server upload, cloud or email, according to the selected family and configuration. Alarm functions allow threshold settings on monitored parameters and notification in case of limit exceedance through LED, buzzer, email, SMS or remote relay modules, depending on the system used.

For regulated applications such as pharmaceutical environments, laboratories and cleanrooms, software options compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 are available. This allows the use of the dataloggers in environments where traceability, user management, audit trail and protection of recorded data are essential requirements.

The choice between HD50 and HD35 depends on the system architecture. HD50 is suitable when the datalogger must be integrated into an Ethernet or Wi-Fi network with browser access and web-based management. HD35 is preferable when a wireless network with multiple measuring points, battery-powered remote dataloggers, repeaters and future expansion capability is required.

S.A.M.A. Italia supplies Senseca dataloggers (formerly Delta Ohm), probes, accessories and technical support for selecting the most suitable configuration according to the monitoring application. When available for the selected instrument and configuration, ACCREDIA calibration documentation performed in Senseca laboratories can also be provided, ensuring metrological traceability and verifiable results over time.
