Mar Resistance Tester - SAMAR536

The Mar resistance tester works much like a scratch resistance test but uses an arc-shaped stylus (loop-shaped or ring-shaped) to evaluate coating resistance.

In this test, the sample is moved under a stylus set at a 45° angle. The weight on the sample is gradually increased until the coating is damaged.
