Thermo-Hygrometers

Senseca thermo-hygrometers (formerly Delta Ohm), are portable instruments designed for measuring temperature and relative humidity in indoor environments, laboratories, production departments, warehouses, HVAC systems and field inspection activities. The range includes read-only models, instruments with RS232C output and datalogger versions for long-term thermohygrometric monitoring.

The instruments can be used with combined humidity/temperature probes or with temperature-only Pt100 or Pt1000 probes, available in immersion, penetration, surface and air versions. With TP47 series temperature probes, measurements can be performed in the range -200…+650 °C, while relative humidity measurement covers the range 0…100% RH.

When a combined probe is connected, the thermo-hygrometer can calculate useful environmental parameters such as dew point, absolute humidity and partial vapor pressure. More advanced models also calculate wet bulb temperature, mixing ratio, enthalpy and qualitative comfort indexes, useful for environmental comfort evaluations and detailed thermohygrometric inspections.

Model HD2301.0 is intended for fast spot measurements, where a simple, rugged instrument dedicated to direct reading is required. IP67 protection rating makes it particularly suitable for field inspections and operational checks where internal data storage is not required.

Model HD2101.1 adds RS232C output for real-time transfer of measurements to a PC or printer. It represents the intermediate solution when measurements need to be documented or transmitted during operation, without using internal datalogger memory.

Model HD2101.2 is the datalogger version of the range: it stores up to 38,000 samples and allows data transfer through RS232C or USB 2.0. It is suitable for environmental monitoring, long-duration tests, warehouse inspections, stability checks and measurement campaigns where it is important to monitor temperature and humidity trends over time.

Probes equipped with SICRAM module are automatically recognized by the instrument and internally store calibration data. This allows the most suitable probe to be selected for the application, replaced when necessary and managed while maintaining correct sensor identification.

For compressed air and duct applications, dedicated probes are also available for temperature, humidity and dew point measurement. These solutions are useful for monitoring humidity levels in compressed air systems, preventing corrosion, ice formation, pneumatic system failures and critical process issues where compressed air quality affects the final result.
