The thermo-hygrometer with data output is a portable LCD display instrument designed for measuring relative humidity and temperature, intended for applications where, in addition to direct reading, real-time data transfer to a PC or printer is required.
The instrument measures relative humidity in the range 0…100% RH and temperature with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes in the range -200…+650 °C. It can be used with combined humidity/temperature probes or with temperature-only probes for immersion, penetration, surface or air applications, allowing the most suitable configuration to be selected according to the inspection type.
When a combined probe is connected, the thermo-hygrometer calculates and displays not only temperature and relative humidity, but also absolute humidity, dew point, partial vapor pressure, wet bulb temperature, mixing ratio, enthalpy and qualitative comfort indexes. This extended set of parameters makes the instrument more complete than model HD2301.0, especially when measurements must be interpreted in terms of environmental comfort or detailed thermohygrometric analysis.
Probes equipped with SICRAM module are automatically recognized and internally store calibration data. This allows different probes to be used according to the application while reducing configuration errors and maintaining correct association between probe and metrological data.
The presence of the RS232C serial port allows real-time transfer of acquired measurements to a PC or portable printer. For connection to a PC USB port, a dedicated USB/serial converter is required, with driver installation before first use.
Functions such as Max, Min and Avg, REL relative measurement, HOLD function and selectable auto power-off are also available. IP66 protection rating and dual-line display make the instrument suitable for field measurements, environmental inspections, process controls and laboratory activities.
It represents the intermediate solution within the product family: more complete than HD2301.0 thanks to additional calculated parameters and data communication capability, but without the internal datalogger memory available on model HD2101.2.
