The HD2102.2 luxmeter datalogger is a portable photo-radiometer designed for measurements of illuminance, luminance, PAR and irradiance, intended for applications where not only direct reading is required, but also data logging over time. With compatible LP471 series probes, it can be configured for photometric, radiometric, UV, PAR, blue light and global solar irradiance measurements.
Compared to the HD2102.1 model, the main difference is the integrated datalogger function. The HD2102.2 can store up to 38,000 samples with single-channel probes and up to 14,000 samples with combined probes, allowing monitoring trends and documenting measurements during tests, monitoring activities and repeated inspections. Data can be transferred to a PC via RS232C or USB, with programmable logging intervals directly from the menu.
The instrument also calculates the Q(t) time integral, useful for evaluating accumulated exposure during a test cycle or monitoring period. Programmable thresholds allow limits to be associated with the integrated value or integration time, automatically stopping the calculation when the predefined condition is reached.
The HD2102.2 is the most complete solution in the family when traceability, data archiving and post-processing are required. It is preferable to the HD2302.0 for structured measurement campaigns and to the HD2102.1 when transferring data in real time is not sufficient and measurements must also be stored internally for later analysis or test documentation.
Thanks to automatic recognition of SICRAM probes, the system reduces manual settings and automatically selects the correct measurement unit according to the connected probe: lux, cd/m², W/m², µW/cm², J/m², µmol/(m²·s), µmol/m² and µW/lumen.
