Let\u2019s dig into each of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verification of the adhesion to the substrate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The adhesion test to the substrate is usually performed using tools such as <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.samatools.it\/en\/product\/cross-hatch-testers-sadt502\/\"><strong>quadrettatori<\/strong><\/a><\/span> or digital tools for <strong>pull-off adhesion tests<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cross hatch adhesion testers are generally used to determine if the various coats of paint are firmly anchored to the support.<\/strong>&nbsp;When various layers of different coating materials are applied,<strong>&nbsp;these instruments allow one to verify the adhesion between layers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The measuring procedure consists in sliding the head of the instrument on the sample in orthogonal direction to track a grid on the coating.
