Thickness gauge indicators

Thickness gauge indicators are instruments used to measure the thickness of deformable or rigid materials such as paper, plastic, rubber, leather, fabrics, sheets, and technical films quickly and accurately. The dial gauge measuring system allows small dimensional variations to be detected with high repeatability, making these instruments particularly useful in quality control and production checks.

These thickness gauges can be fitted with either an analogue or digital dial gauge and are available with different throat depths, contact surfaces, and centesimal or micron resolutions according to the required application. Analogue thickness gauge indicators are often used for immediate and continuous checks during processing, while digital thickness gauge indicators provide faster and more intuitive reading of the measured values.
