Pin gauges

Pin gauges are inspection tools used for the quick and accurate checking of hole diameters in mechanical machining and quality control processes. Also known as setting pins or inspection pins, they are used to verify dimensional conformity against the tolerances specified in the technical drawing.

Made of high-accuracy hardened and ground steel, pin gauges allow immediate dimensional checks directly in production or in the metrology room. They are particularly used for checking cylindrical holes, internal diameters, and machined parts where high inspection repeatability is required.
