Multifunction instruments

Senseca multifunction instruments (formerly Delta Ohm), are designed for users who need to measure multiple physical quantities with a single device, while maintaining operational flexibility, data logging capability and the possibility to configure the instrument according to the specific application. The category includes portable datalogger instruments for environmental measurements, field inspections, plant verification, laboratory activities, maintenance and technical monitoring.

The HD31 multifunction datalogger features three independent channels and allows connection of single or combined SICRAM probes for measuring temperature, relative humidity, barometric and differential pressure, air velocity, illuminance, luminance, PAR, irradiance, CO2, voltage and current. Automatic probe recognition enables the instrument to identify the connected quantity and use the calibration data stored directly inside the probe, ensuring continuity even when probes are moved between different inputs.

For applications where atmospheric pressure is the main parameter, the HD3114B precision barometer integrates an internal barometric sensor with measuring range from 0…1350 hPa and data recording on SD card. In addition to barometric measurement, the instrument can also be used with Pt100 probes, combined temperature and relative humidity probes, and pressure probes connected through the PP471 module, becoming a complete solution for environmental and meteorological monitoring.

Both instruments are portable dataloggers equipped with colour graphic display, data recording capability, USB connection to PC and management through DeltaLog software. Data can be downloaded, displayed in tables or graphs, exported and used to document tests, inspections and monitoring campaigns. SD card recording also allows long-term monitoring without depending exclusively on the instrument’s internal memory.

The choice between the models depends on the type of measurement required. HD31 is recommended when maximum multichannel versatility and the ability to work with different physical quantities within the same measurement cycle are needed. HD3114B is instead more specifically designed for accurate barometric measurements, with the possibility to integrate temperature, humidity and external pressure probes according to the application.
