The thermometer also calculates differential temperature, namely the difference between the two temperatures measured by the channels. The two supplied K-type bead probes are suitable for general checks and measurements at points that are not immediately accessible. For specific applications, optional K-type probes can be selected for surface, immersion, penetration and air measurements, allowing the thermometer to be configured according to the material, measuring point geometry and required temperature range.
The integrated data logger makes it possible to record series of measurements in the internal memory, making the thermometer suitable for checks carried out over time, process inspections and orderly data collection. The recording function can be used to document temperature trends during tests, production checks, system inspections or comparisons between different operating conditions.
Cable and software are included. The software makes it possible to acquire measurements in real time, download recordings from the internal memory and display data in table and graph format. The data output allows connection to software for measurement data collection, improving traceability and reducing transcription errors in quality-control processes.
The Hold and Max/Min functions complete the checking capabilities, making it possible to keep a measured value displayed and recall the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded during the inspection.
When measuring a single point is sufficient and data do not need to be recorded over time, the single-channel K-type digital thermometer may be selected. The two-channel model is the suitable solution when comparison between two temperatures, data logging, internal memory and software for measurement management are required.
