The test stand, used together with a 500 N capacity force gauge is used to measure the breaking force of crimped cables with a manual lever mechanism.
This setup provides accurate and consistent tensile test results, which are essential for evaluating the mechanical strength of crimped terminations.
To carry out the test, the wire and terminal are secured in the designated clamps. Tension is then applied manually using the lever until the crimp breaks. At the end of the test, the peak force value—or the entire force curve—can be viewed and exported to a PC for further analysis.
This method allows a fast and practical verification of crimped connections, making it suitable for both production line inspections and routine quality control activities.
