Film Applicators

Ensuring a smooth and even layer of film, paint, ink, or adhesive is essential for achieving a high-quality coating and avoiding defects caused by human error.

This process can be carried out using specialized film applicators. There are bar applicators as well as two- or four-sided applicators, with each side designed to apply the film at a different thickness.

In addition to manual film applicators, adjustable models are available. These feature micrometric heads that allow precise control of the application height.

To eliminate human error entirely, automatic film applicators are an excellent solution. These devices ensure consistent film application at a set, constant speed, enabling repeatable tests under identical conditions. Some models are equipped with heated draw-down plates and vacuum pumps, ensuring optimal adhesion to the test substrate and enhanced control over application conditions.
