Stroboscopes

Description

Stroboscopes – devices employed to perform optical tests on cyclically moving objects with reference to: rotation, oscillation, vibration, reciprocation and measuring speed. The functioning principle is based on a light source capable to alternate very quick on/off cycles. Reasoning in terms of RPM the measuring range of the instrument is directly proportional to the number of on/off cycles of the light source. It can be employed in all the main industrial fields and wherever is impossible to use a tachometer.
