UCI Hardness Tester – device employed to measure hardness using ultrasounds technology. SA459 is the best choice to perform quality control in the production line, wherever is needed to measure the hardness of machine parts without disassembling them and more importantly when the indentations on the sample are supposed to be impalpable, like it’s required when inspecting paper mills’ rolls. This features make the product fit to measure superficial hardened layers or very thin workpieces. Another important quality of the SA459 is the opportunity to inspect samples with a very small surface like gears’ teeth or similar parts. The main application fields are the base industry, especially in aeronautical and automotive fields. Complies with DIN59159 UCI Method.
