Some examples of use :
- On ferromagnetic mode the instrument can measure of non magnetic carryovers like paints, plastics, porcelain , varnishes, copper , zinc, aluminium, chromium ,etc. on ferromagnetic bases like iron and nickel.
- On non ferromagnetic the instrument ca measure thickness of non magnetic carryovers like anodizations, painting, enamelling, plastic coatings, powder etc. on non magnetic substrates like aluminum, brass non magnetic steels etc..

INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL PROBE?WICH TO CHOOSE?
SA8827 is produced in two versions: SA8827-I e SA8827-E. This two types has same technical characteristics and differs only by probe type : internal or external.
SA8827-I must be prefered in the case you need to operate on wide and simple access surfaces like sheets, tiles, panels, carbodies, etc. and when you need to operate with one hand.
SA8827-E must be used when you need to measure on difficult access surfaces, on particulars and when the ones with internal probe can’t work.
Standard equipment includes: 4 calibration sheets (range 50 - 350µm) , 2 metallic bases for zeroing and calibration (ferromagnetic and nonferromagnetic), external probe ( on SA8827-E model), wrist strap and shockproof carrying case.
Optional accessories includes software and cable for pc communication , calibration sheets,Sit certificate and calibration report.
