Roughness surface tester for sandblasting

Roughness surface tester for sandblasting

Description

SA6223 - Roughness surface tester for sandblasting - The Digital Profile Tester is an instrument projected for the fast and accurated measurement of the roughness about sandblasted surfaces. The instrument measures the distance from the peak and the valley on the surface after sandblasting it. If the peak is high the quantity of the paint must be more otherwise there will be the risk that the peaks will remain unpainted allowing the formation of rust. If the peak is too low may cause poor adhesion of the paint to the surface so as to cause the early loss of patent coverage. The instrument allows to ensure the proper preparation of a surface to be painted to optimize painting operations and therefore labor costs. These types of roughness, due to the robustness, high precision and reliability, are suitable for use in laboratory and in harsh environments. The instrument is in compliance with ASTMD 4417-B, IMO MSC.215(82) SANS5772, US Navy NSI 009-32, US Navy PPI 63101-000.
