SA8825 - Coating thickness gauge for ferrous and non ferrous metals, integrated probe
Portable coating thickness gauge is an handy instrument that allow to make non destructive, rapid and accurate measures of many type of coats.
This high precision coating thickness gauge is principally used on industrial anticorrosive protection, galvanic and painting processes, chemical industry, airplanes/ships/cars production and also in machinery and equipment production.
Coating thickness gauge use “magnetic induction” method to take measure on ferrous metals,while for non ferrous metals use the “eddy currents”method.

Main features of coating thickness gauge are :
- Built to exacting ISO2178 and ISO2361 standards as well as DIN, ASTM and BS. Ideal for use in laboratory, on field conditions and in the workshops;
- Integrated probe type “Fe”(F) allow to measure thickness of non magnetic materials (like paint, plastics, varnishes, copper, zinc, aluminum, chromium) on magnetic materials ( like iron, nickel , etc.)Can be used also to measure thickness of galvanized sheets, varnished, glazed, phosphate, copper roofing, aluminum, some alloys, paper etc;
- Integrated probe type “Nfe”(NF) measure the thickness of non magnetic materials on non magnetic metals. Must be used on lacquers, paints, varnishes, plastics etc. applied on aluminum, brass, zinc and other non ferrous metals;
- Automatic detection of substrate;
